the foot locker :

it is still in use somewhere, if only to hold mementos and memories

When and where were you introduced to the "foot locker" .  Usually it was when you were in basic training - your whole life revolved around it.  Your foot Locker served

as your suite case, closet, dresser drawers and your security box among other functions, but those were the main ones.  Oh yes, can't forget inspections - the foot locker

was always good for a "gig" or "demerit" or two!  It was there when you hit the sac and it was there at O'Dark-thirty when you rolled out of your rack for another "fun" day.

Go to the link for the National World War II Museum web site and there is an excellent section about "foot lockers" for you to walk down memory lane - Oorah!
